We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Shift Engineer to join our team on a long-standing, secure contract with ISS, in place since 2007.
Job Description
You’ll work a continental shift pattern, delivering electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs and installations within a critical environment.
As Shift Engineer, you'll work in a relaxed and supportive workplace with plenty of overtime available if you want it.
You’ll also benefit from full AP training funded by ISS, giving you the chance to grow your skills and progress your career.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical PPM, reactive and proactive tasks within agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
Perform maintenance and repairs on critical systems and assets within engineering environments
Oversee and monitor contractor activity to ensure quality and compliance with standards
Ensure equipment performance meets specified criteria and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the surrounding areas
Represent the company professionally, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks
Liaise proactively with clients, addressing concerns and escalating where necessary to support service delivery
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience in Facilities Management, ideally within a critical engineering environment
Confident in completing both PPM and reactive maintenance tasks independently
Fully qualified in Electrical Installations – 18th Edition (minimum 17th Edition)
Ideally holds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
Strong understanding of electrical systems and fault finding
Comfortable working alone on shift and taking ownership of tasks
Familiar with health & safety standards and compliance requirements
