Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the position of CSW - Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner - Intervention & Planning (C). This role is pivotal in enhancing the well-being of our community members by providing expert assessment, intervention, and support planning for individuals and families in complex situations. As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead initiatives that foster positive outcomes, while guiding a team of professionals in upholding best practices within services. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, formulating intervention strategies, and ensuring that our services align with organizational goals and the needs of the population we serve. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, families, and partner agencies, to advocate for effective solutions and interventions. Furthermore, your role will involve supervising and mentoring junior staff, fostering their development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and situations.
Develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to individual cases.
Supervise and mentor junior social workers and other team members.
Collaborate with other professionals and external agencies to coordinate services.
Advocate for clients' rights and needs in various settings.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust as necessary.
Provide training and guidance on best practices in social work interventions.
Requirements
Qualified social worker with a relevant degree and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
Extensive experience in a social work setting, specifically with complex cases.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills in supervising teams.
Strong understanding of social work legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to analyze complex situations and develop strategic intervention plans.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
