We’re looking for a passionate Travelling Cook to join our friendly and dedicated Facilities Management catering team. You’ll be preparing and serving tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients across schools in the Newcastle and Sunderland.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Preparing, cooking, and serving healthy meals to pupils and staff
Leading and supporting kitchen teams to deliver a high-quality service
Setting up and clearing the dining area
Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
Managing kitchen operations including:
Supervising staff
Ordering food and supplies
Stock control
Basic admin tasks
About You:
Reliable, dependable, and passionate about healthy food
Enjoy working with children and young people
Flexible and happy to travel between schools as needed
Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle (business insurance required)
