Summary

Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. Help with mobility and manual handling, including moving and repositioning patients safely. Support patients during meal times, including feeding and monitoring dietary intake. Measure and record vital signs like temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate. Observe patients and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff. Assist nurses and doctors with basic clinical procedures under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and clinical areas; change bed linen and restock supplies. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting dignity and respect. Ensure proper infection control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE use. Accurately document care provided in records or care plans. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
