Why This Role?

This isn’t your average teaching gig. This is the real deal, boots-on-the-ground vocational training, led by those who’ve done the job. You’ll train the next generation of scaffolders and access professionals, giving them the skills, safety mindset, and confidence to thrive in the modern construction industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver hands-on scaffolding and access training that reflects current site standards
Design and deliver practical sessions and theory lessons in line with CITB’s gold-standard training
Support learners to develop not only technical know-how, but also essential English, Maths, and digital skills
Coach, mentor, and inspire learners — many of whom are fresh to the industry
Create a safe, supportive, and energetic learning environment
Track learner progress and celebrate their success like it's a topped-out scaffold
You won’t just teach, you’ll transform!

Your Experience:

A minimum NVQ Level 2 in Scaffolding (or equivalent)
At least 10 years’ scaffolding experience, including holding a valid CISRS card
Passion, patience, and a genuine desire to teach
A Level 3 teaching qualification — or willingness to earn it with our full support
Knowledge of health & safety, risk assessments, and scaffolding standards
*For full details, please refer to the Role Profile.

What You’ll Get in Return:

We look after our instructors like they look after their rigs!

Free onsite lunch — Yes, every day!
Free onsite parking — No meters, no stress
All PPE provided — Fully kitted out, ready to teach
25 days holiday + bank holidays + 3 days Christmas shutdown
Generous pension scheme (up to 9% employer contribution)
Life assurance (4x salary)
2 paid volunteering days per year
Professional development & funded training qualifications
Employee Assistance Programme — because your wellbeing matters
A team that respects you, your trade, and your time-served knowledge
