Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Local Plan Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing, implementing, and monitoring local plans that align with our organization’s goals and meet the needs of our community. Your expertise will be instrumental in facilitating public engagement, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all local plans are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations. You will work closely with various departments, local authorities, and community groups to create sustainable solutions that enhance the local environment and promote economic development. With a focus on strategic planning, your ability to analyze complex data, create impactful presentations, and drive projects to successful completion will be crucial. Additionally, you will manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that outcomes are delivered efficiently and effectively. As the Local Plan Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future development of our community while receiving support from a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about local planning.

Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of local plans in accordance with community needs and regulations.
Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions to gather feedback and foster community involvement.
Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and decision-makers on project progress and outcomes.
Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure the successful completion of local plans.
Collaborate with various departments and external agencies to align project objectives and activities.
Analyze data related to local planning, demographics, and economic trends to inform decision-making.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to planning and development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, public administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or local planning-related roles.
Strong understanding of local government processes, planning regulations, and community development.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in project management software and tools, with proven organizational abilities.
Ability to analyze complex data and present findings effectively to various audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
