Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Enhance Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Trust Teaching & Learning Leader to join our established team to support our primary academies across Wakefield, Kirklees and Barnsley. We are keen to hear from experienced Year 6 practitioners who would like to further develop their leadership experience within a highly collaborative and supportive environment.

We are a growing and successful Academy Trust currently comprising of 16 primary academies. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring and highly motivated teacher with a proven track record of teaching Year 6 to join a team of experienced and committed Trust leaders.

Our outcomes at the end of Year 6 are already above the national average, and we want to ensure that all of our pupils continue to achieve exceptional outcomes and are well prepared for secondary education.

The successful candidate will work with colleagues in schools across the Trust as well as in identified schools to directly impact on the quality of Year 6 teaching and learning and maximize outcomes for all pupils.

What the school offers its staff

You will have the chance to gain new skills and expertise, and to extend your understanding of different leadership and teaching approaches by working across a group of academies. The role involves coaching and mentoring, team teaching, modelling best practice and developing and leading CPD opportunities to maximize outcomes for our Year 6 pupils.

The person appointed to this new post will already have a track record of raising standards in Year 6 as a result of highly effective teaching.
