Summary


We are looking for committed and compassionate SEN Outreach Tutors across West Yorkshire to work one-to-one with children and young people currently not in mainstream education. Get involved to help students rebuild confidence, rediscover learning, and take meaningful steps forward towards their goals and aspirations.

What You'll Be Doing:

- You'll plan and deliver personalised, engaging 1:1 sessions that meet each learner at their level academically, emotionally, and socially.
- Many of these young people have been disengaged from education for extended periods, and your role will be to help them believe in their potential again
- Create and teach tailored, goal-driven lessons
- Build trust, nurture confidence, and boost self-esteem
- Bring structure, motivation, and enjoyment back into learning
- Collaborate closely with our support team to monitor progress
- This role is ideal for educators who want to connect deeply with learners and make a genuine, day-to-day difference.



Role Overview:

- Location: Across West Yorkshire
- Role: SEN Outreach Tutor
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Flexible (typically 1 to 3 hours per session)
- Pay: From GBP25 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Contract: Temporary part-time or full-time options available
- Duration: Varies based on student needs


Who Were Looking For

- UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 months teaching experience in UK schools
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for 1:1 teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two recent references related to child-based roles
