Summary
Location: Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire
Hours: Minimum 3 days per week
Licence Required: Clean UK licence – ideally C1 (7.5T); B+E also considered
We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable person to support the day-to-day running of our specialist horsebox business in Lesmahagow. We build, sell, and service high-quality coach-built horseboxes from 3.5T to 7.5T, and this role is vital in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the arrival and dispatch of vehicles at our yard
Collect and deliver vehicles to subcontractors, customers, and suppliers
Support basic vehicle prep, inspections, and handovers
Assist with general workshop duties and yard upkeep
What We’re Looking For
A clean driving licence (C1 preferred; B+E acceptable)
Confidence using power tools or a good mechanical instinct
Strong work ethic, timekeeping, and personal responsibility
Positive, “can do” attitude and willingness to learn
Happy working outdoors and as part of a small team
