Our client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (Mid-Senior Level of Experience) to join a building services consultancy delivering a wide range of projects - residential, commercial, education and industrial projects, with a special focus on high-rise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design electrical systems for a variety of building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work on projects from estimation stage through to Stage 5
- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience running your own projects.
- Proven experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and building regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional membership or working towards membership with a relevant engineering institution is advantageous.
