Our client is seeking a Quality Control Manager to play a key role in maintaining and developing their quality standards and management systems at their manufacturing site in Cumbria. You'll ensure that every artificial turf product leaving their factory meets the highest industry standards, while actively supporting the wider operations team in delivering excellence.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager:
• Monitor, measure, and maintain product quality to meet production specifications.
• Lead the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and oversee audits and certification processes.
• Test and inspect raw materials and in-process products (e.g. yarn, backing, latex).
• Maintain quality documentation and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Enforce workplace policies and proactively challenge unsafe or non-compliant practices.
• Liaise with technical teams, maintenance, and management to resolve quality issues.
• Provide operational support in the absence of the Head of Operations.
• Take ownership of internal audits, quality meetings, and continuous improvement processes.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience working with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take a hands-on approach on the production floor.
• Comfortable challenging non-compliance and supporting a culture of accountability.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
