Summary
Provide expert clinical assessment, treatment, and care planning for patients with sickle cell disease. Lead on clinical decision-making, working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Prescribe independently in line with national guidance and Trust policy to optimise patient care and streamline pathways. Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and staff education. Play a key role in building towards a 24/7 service in line with our NHSE commitment.
