Summary

We are seeking to appoint a Minibus Driver to join us in September. The successful candidate will ensure the safety and security of students during their morning and afternoon commutes, being responsible for creating a safe environment by maintaining high standards of behaviour within the minibus, enforcing essential safety rules and protocols to minimise the risk of accidents and incidents.The successful candidate will hold a full clean UK category B driving license as a minimum, D1 would be advantageous, have a basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, good interpersonal skills including being able to communicate with people at different levels, be friendly, approachable, reliable and punctual.
Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 3 hours per day (1.5 hours in the morning, and 1.5 hours in the afternoon). Term-time only.
There may be the option for a job share.
Start date: 3 September 2025.
Salary: £30,060 FTE, pro-rated to £10,039 per annum (NJC pay-award pending)
Terms: Fixed-term until 31 August 2026 in the first instance.
