Summary
The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Sports Coach at Inspire Academy, Mossley Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 9RU.

The role is fixed-term, part-time 30 hours per week, Term Time Only -Plus Inset Days
with an actual salary - £18,245-£19,137, (Grade D Point 7-10)

30 hours per week – Term Time Only plus inset
Inspire Academy are looking for an individual who is passionate about positive outcomes for young people through PE, Sport and Physical Activity. We are a two-form entry academy located in Ashton-Under-Lyne serving children from 3-11 years of age. We areseeking an individual who understands the needs of the children in our community and who will ensure they will support the delivery of a PE Curriculum suitable for all children within our academy. The person must have experience in delivering the PE Curriculum and be aware of the barriers some children may have. They must also be a fervent believer in removing those barriers to learning and live and breathe the importance of the benefits of PE, Sport and Physical Activity.For more details about the role please see attached Job Description and Person Specification.

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:
• Applications close @ 12:00am on Sunday 31st 2025 although the Trust reserve the right to close the process early if suitable candidates are identified through our selection process.
• Interviews will take place w/c Monday 8th September 2025• Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed.Victorious Academies Trust has a commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and/or young people. We have robust processes and procedures to reduce risk and continuously promote a positive culture of safeguarding amongst our workforce. The role described involves working with children and/or young people and is subject to Victorious Academies Trust’s Safer Recruitment Process.
