Summary

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Resourcing Assistant to join our busy in-house Recruitment team.

This is a varied role to provide pivotal support to the Resourcing Specialists by providing a comprehensive recruitment administration service, from arranging interviews to coordinating the offer process.

You will be joining an innovative and forward-thinking team with a passion for providing a first-class service to candidates and hiring managers.   If you are passionate about providing managers and candidates with a fantastic experience during their recruitment journey with Platform, then we would love to hear from you.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Producing all new starter paperwork, including offer letters, contracts of employment and employment references.

Proactively co-ordinating the onboarding of new employees by keeping managers updated on the progress of pre-employment checks, ensuring that any delays in the target start date are communicated promptly.

Liaising with candidates throughout onboarding to resolve paperwork delays or administration queries as required.

Ensuring candidates are progressed through the system throughout their offer and onboarding process to ensure accurate records are kept.

Arranging interviews and providing feedback in line with SLAs and Group policies.

Communicating with all candidates at each stage of the recruitment process, including rejection notifications for unsuccessful candidates.

Entering all new starters into the HR system ensuring that they are included in payroll in line with their deadlines.

To administer and coordinate pre-employment checks, including Data Barring Service (DBS) and, UKVI Right to Work checks.



Some things we need from you: 

We are looking for an experienced administrator with experience of producing and coordinating employee correspondence. You will also need a positive and flexible approach to your work with the ability to juggle differing priorities.

Your strong verbal and written communication skills will come into play as you liaise with hiring managers and candidates in a professional and friendly manner. You will need strong attention to detail, experience of inputting data into a database or system and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.

As the role is home-based, you will need to be able to work unsupervised, have good organisation skills and the ability to juggle a busy, reactive workload.

Whilst this is a home-based role, you will be required to travel to our offices for meetings at least once or twice per month. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
