The company’s continued success is driven by its core values of teamwork, dedication, and a positive, professional working environment. As part of its expansion across South Wales, it is looking for an experienced Mobile SMART Repair Technician to join its dynamic team.
As a Mobile SMART Repair Technician, you’ll play a key role in bringing vehicles back to their best condition. Working independently on-site, primarily at main dealer used car sites across South Wales, you’ll carry out a wide range of cosmetic vehicle repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy hands-on work, variety in your day, and the satisfaction of delivering high-quality results.
Are you the right person for the job?
• A full UK driving licence
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Sprayer, SMART Repair Technician, or similar role within automotive body repair
• Strong knowledge of repair and spray-painting techniques
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision
• A customer-focused attitude with a professional and courteous approach
• Basic tech skills to manage job tracking and communication via phone or tablet
What will your role look like?
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques) to repair cosmetic vehicle damage, such as:
• Alloy wheel repairs
• Bumper scuff repairs
• Scratch and dent removal
• Panel preparation and spray painting
• General refurbishment and touch-ups
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and promptly
• Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the company with excellent customer service
• Managing your workload independently while keeping communication with the central office
• Taking pride in your van, tools, and equipment, ensuring everything is in top working order
