Summary
We're looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager for our client based near Diss to oversee the design, planning, and delivery of bespoke engineering projects. This role combines project management with production planning to ensure technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage projects from order through design, fabrication, testing, and delivery
• Coordinate with customers, design teams, and internal departments
• Maintain project plans, schedules and budgets
• Plan and monitor workshop activities across fabrication and assembly
• Liaise with procurement to ensure material and component availability
• Act as the key point of contact across all departments
• Support site visits and project handovers when required
What You’ll Need
• Degree, HND (or equivalent) or time-served background in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
• Experience in project management within an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
Desirable
• Knowledge of automation, controls, or mechanical assembly
• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
