We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter for a world-renowned manufacturing company based in Somerset. You will be responsible for building and assembling a wide range of machines to engineering drawings and bespoke industry standards

Role & Responsibilities:

Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.

Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.

General assembly of small sub-assemblies to larger sections.

Running pneumatic & hydraulic pipework


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Fully time-served mechanical fitter/engineer.

Must hold a mechanical engineering qualification.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.

Experience using machine tools is an advantage.

Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.

Experience working with pneumatics & hydraulics.

Fabrication experience would be an advantage.
