Summary
The primary role of the Reception and Workspace Supervisor is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the head office reception and the Jericho Workspace social enterprise whilst training and supervising a small team of participants on JERICHO's social projects.
General reception duties such as:
Answering and directing phone calls for JERICHO & workspace tenants
Greeting visitors & dealing with their enquiries
Sorting & distributing incoming post
Photocopying, filing, laminating and other office duties
Maintaining health & safety records
General building housekeeping
Any other duties deemed necessary by the Line Manager
Supervisory duties
Training and supporting a small team of participants for a wide range of reception and admin duties
Delivering JERICHO's training manual
Supporting participants to ensure they remain engaged and reach their potential
Supporting participants with their qualifications
Liaising with the People Support Team regarding participants' progress and concerns
Any other duties deemed necessary by the Line Manager
Jericho Workspace
Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential Workspace tenants
Showing potential tenants around the workspace
Managing room bookings
Sorting coffee, tea, milk, printers, room bookings, setting up for meetings including moving tables and chairs to the required configuration
Any other duties deemed necessary by the Line Manager
Admin Support to Senior Management Team
Providing admin support to the Senior Management team as required, including for example, arranging meetings, booking trains, taking notes and other admin tasks. This is not an exhaustive list and there may be other reasonable duties.

We are looking for someone who is:
A self-motivated person, with a professional outlook, who can also motivate others.
Able to prepare one’s own work plan and manage the activities of others
Knowledge and experience of supporting and training others
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
A recognised business administration qualification or relevant experience
An appreciation of the Christian ethos of the organisation
Able to climb stairs on a regular basis and able to lift and move meeting room furniture
Desirable skills and experience:
Evidence of ability and/or experience at helping people grow in confidence and self-esteem such that they can achieve their true potential
Experience of working with socially excluded or marginalised people
Experience of working in a multi-ethnic, multi- faith setting
