Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Scafforder (CSCS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures at various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of scaffolding regulations and safety procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety before use.
Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
Assist in training new staff on proper scaffolding techniques and safety measures.
Requirements
Valid CSCS card is essential.
Previous experience in scaffolding or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations regarding scaffolding.
Ability to work at heights and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
