Summary

Bookings Advisor

Part-time, permanent, 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary - £25,116 per annum pro rata (£13.51 per hour)

Location - Meadowbank Sports Centre



Do you love to help people, like to solve problems, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? Excellent, we are looking for a friendly, positive, and vibrant Bookings Advisor to join the extended lets team based at our Head Office at Meadowbank Sports Centre.



You will be responsible for:

- Responding to telephone, email, and web enquiries in a prompt, knowledgeable, and engaging way to manage the allocation of bookings and invoicing for a wide range of sporting activities across our venues.

- Work closely with colleagues to ensure bookings are managed in an efficient and effective way in line with our standards, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.



Our ideal candidate will be:

- Customer-focused, enthusiastic individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously.

- Great listener with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to a varied customer base.

- Decisive, fair, and consistent problem-solver with strong decision-making skills, able to organise and prioritise to strategically develop creative solutions for complex issues.

- Computer-literate with sound keyboard skills, and the ability to work with a range of IT software/systems e.g., membership systems and bookings systems and have a good working knowledge of MS Office.

Opportunity available: Part-time, permanent position for 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday on a rotating two-week schedule (8:00–14:30 one week, 11:30–18:00 the next). Flexibility is required to support business needs, including covering annual leave.
