As a Receptionist with ISS UK, you will serve as a key ambassador for both ISS and our clients. The receptionist role is central to creating a welcoming and professional environment - this is why we seek out and develop exceptional individuals. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering outstanding experiences to everyone who visits the workplace.
Working within our Government division, you'll be part of a high-profile contract, playing a key role in connecting people and places to make the world work better.
The Role
Greet all customers and visitors warmly, ensuring they’re registered and guided through site procedures
Handle phone calls, room bookings, and queries with confidence and professionalism
Support the Workplace Experience and Building Events Coordination teams during events and daily operations
Maintain an organised and immaculate reception area that reflects our commitment to excellence
Liaise with security, facilities, and other departments to ensure seamless visitor and workplace experiences
Prepare visitor passes, update systems, and use foresight to manage upcoming bookings
Be a source of information and support for building users and clients, going the extra mile to enhance their experience
About You
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a calm and professional manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within secure environments
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and general administration tasks
Approachable, detail-oriented, and confident in dealing with multiple stakeholders
A natural people-person who enjoys building relationships and creating memorable interactions
Able to stay composed under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
Flexible, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
