Summary
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to local infection control policies. To actively participate in the Staff Development Process Review. Encourage, mentor and train all team members within GIA and CIA teams. Active participation in stock control Active participation in all audit and continuous improvement Assist the Radiographic Team in the care of the Patient by:- Complete Imaging Safety questionnaires with all relevant patients Assess patients for suitability for cannulation Immediately feedback to Radiographic / Nursing / Radiologist team any potential problems with cannulae, patient allergies, ECG etc Assist patients for discharge and inform of results procedure Monitoring of patients before and after Imaging procedure Please note this post involves working weekends and bank holidays on a rota.
