Summary


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist toprovide exercise prescription for cardiovascular endurance, exercise, and resistance training within a cardiac rehabilitation setting.

The post is based at Local community settings in Tower Hamlets

and the post holder will work closely with our exercise physiologists based

at Whipps Cross & waltham Forrest communities.



We are seeking an enthusiastic individual , who is flexible, confident,

and able to work independently within a multi-professional team.
The key aspects of the post include delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation service.



This post offers you the opportunity to: Work in a vibrant multi-disciplinary environment within an innovative team.

To provide exercise prescription for cardiovascular endurance, exercise and resistance training within a cardiac rehabilitation setting.



To Identify, develop and implement appropriate monitoring systems to enable comprehensive service evaluation of the physical activity / exercise component. Engage in effective partnership working to promote quality, continuity of care and a cost-effective service.



To maintain a high standard of care, taking charge of own patient caseload as required. Liaise closely with the Senior Sister /Charge nurse with continuing responsibility.
