Summary

Ref: SIT55 | Service Desk Analyst | Home Based, UK, Nationwide
This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.
Salary circa £29,600 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,275 per annum may be applied in accordance to where you live) | 35 hours per week

Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader within the Technology Team. In the Service Desk Analyst role, you will be responsible for receiving and logging all first-line technical queries and requests on the service management tool and offering direct support to internal customers for 1st & 2nd line incidents.

The role is also responsible for the maintenance and management of technology assets. Though a home-based role, you will be required at times to visit our distribution and repair centre. The centre is currently located in Northampton.
Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact, providing local and remote users with technical support & requests.
• Provide IT Support to the organisation.
• Resolve IT incidents and service requests.
• IT equipment repair
• Maintain asset register.
Experience & Personal Attributes
• Direct experience of a service desk.
• Good understanding of Microsoft technologies
• Good understanding of software applications.
• Understanding of computer hardware repair.

To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
