About the Nursery
Little Shining Lights Nursery and Preschool is a warm and welcoming Christian-based setting in Thornton Heath, Croydon, providing high-quality, affordable childcare for babies, toddlers and preschoolers aged 3 months to 5 years. Open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:45pm for 50 weeks a year, the nursery offers dedicated age-specific rooms and a safe, stimulating environment designed to support each child’s early learning journey. This apprenticeship is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a caring team, gaining hands-on experience while helping young children thrive in a nurturing setting.

Your Role:
• Support children’s daily routines and development
• Help deliver creative, engaging activities

What You’ll Need:
• GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Good communication & time management skills
• Childcare experience is a bonus
