About the Role
As our Car Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our sales team and the overall performance of the dealership. You’ll plan and coordinate sales strategies, manage inventory, and ensure our customers receive an outstanding service experience from first contact to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service
•Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular coaching and support
•Ensure adequate stock levels and effective merchandising in the showroom
•Handle customer queries and resolve any complaints with professionalism and efficiency
•Liaise with suppliers and authorise payment for vehicle stock
•Set and review pricing strategies, discount offers, and finance packages
•Maintain accurate financial and administrative records and uphold site security standards
•Ensure quality checks are conducted on all vehicles and promote them using effective advertising and display techniques
Requirements
•Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in car sales
•Strong leadership and communication skills
•Customer-focused with a solution-driven mindset
•Good understanding of vehicle financing, warranties, and aftercare products
•Organised and commercially aware, with a drive to meet and exceed targets
•Previous management or team leadership experience within automotive retail
