Summary
Poundbakery and Sayers is part of S&PB Retail Ltd and has over 120 shops across the North West, North Wales, Yorkshire and Midlands areas, with plans to expand even further!
We provide our customers with a quality take-away food service in many high street locations with great tasting products including sandwiches, savouries and cakes at excellent value prices.
We are now looking for a painter to join our small Property Department, role involves travel across our retail shop footprint across the Northwest, North Wales, Midlands and Yorkshire and will require meeting our Painting Supervisor in Prescot, Merseyside to then commute to our shops each shift and return.
Location-wise it would suit candidates from the Prescott / St Helens / Widnes areas to tie in with the existing Painting Supervisor when arranges work load / shop visits etc.
Responsibilities:
- Able to prepare surfaces prior to painting e.g. sanding, filing, and plastering small areas.
- Decorating walls mainly lining paper prior to painting
- Able to work on own initiative quickly and accurately and also as part of a team
- Manual handling skills for lifting, standing, and bending
- Ability to work at heights exterior and interior
- Health and safety aware
- Full UK manual driving license
- NVQ level 3 or city and guilds qualified
- 4 shifts a week Monday – Thursday, 14:00pm-1.30am with occasional flexibility and overtime.
