Summary
Are you looking for Class 1 palletised work?
We’re seeking a reliable and committed Class 1 Driver to join a busy team in Ilkeston, with an immediate start. The role involves palletised deliveries across the UK.
Typically, you’ll complete one drop and one collection per shift. If the route requires traveling further or includes a run planned for the next day, you may need to overnight away from home—usually around 3 nights per week, with a payment of £30 per night.
There’s no manual handling involved since all loads are palletised. However, after forklift training (provided if you don’t already hold a licence), you may occasionally be asked to unload your vehicle.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 3 years of Class 1 driving experience and meet the following requirements:
• A valid Class 1 (HGV) driving licence
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A current UK CPC qualification
• A forklift licence is preferred but not essential, as full forklift training will be provided if needed.
This is a temp to perm role.
This role is Monday to Friday, with start times varying depending on the run, though you’ll typically begin around 7:30 AM. Each shift lasts approximately 8 to 10 hours, and you’ll always be paid for a minimum of 8 hours.
Please be aware that you may have to night out around 3 to 4 nights per week.
The rate of pay is £18.15 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider.

You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £15.00 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave, which will make the hourly rate £16.81 per hour including your holiday accrual.
They pay per night out is £30 per night.
