Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver The Best Connection recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) night drivers for ongoing work with our client based in West Auckland. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent night shifts with a reputable operator.
An assessment and induction are required prior to starting. Induction will be paid once 10 shifts have been completed.
Job Duties Curtainside trailer operations Ratchet strapping Conducting vehicle checks and defect reporting Ensuring load security and delivery accuracy Adhering to legal driving standards, The Highway Code, and company safety policies Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Licence Valid Driver CPC (DQC) Valid Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 1 years commercial UK Class 1 experience Hours of work: Shift start times of 18:00 Monday to Friday Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour Monday to Friday Benefits of working for The Best Connection include: Weekly pay Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Pension accrual Ongoing assignments Access to Perks at Work temporary worker benefit scheme Candidates will be invited to register online via our digital onboarding system.
