Summary
Title: Night Production Supervisor / Production Supervisor The Best Connection are recruiting for a Night Shift Supervisor within the food industry, local to the Chichester area. You will be working in a chilled environment.
Duties to include, but not limited to: Supervise the staff in the packing area to ensure efficiency Communication with departments such as Logistics & Supply Chain Managing and planning shifts and attendance Managing staff and agency timesheets / registers Train and develop / upskill staff to manage rotas Manage escalations from Team Leaders Ensure the packing warehouse is compliant with internal / external regulations Complete further training as and when required Adhere to health and safety regulations and audit requirements Who is the person: Previous experience in the fresh food produce is essential Previous experience working within a chilled environment is desirable Able to lead a team, by communicating well, training and delegating tasks Able to update staff in group settings Excellent IT skills - Microsoft programs Own transport would be preferred due to office location.
The working hours are Monday to Sunday, working a pattern of 4 days on, 3 days off, 12 hour nights - 1800 - 0600
The annual salary is £42,461.
