Summary
We're looking for an experienced and adaptable Temporary Receptionist to join a busy facility in Melton Mowbray for 6-8 weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a dedicated team in a welcoming environment, with an immediate start.
Working hours and pay:
- Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
- Pay: £14 per hour.
- Holiday: 28-day holiday entitlement (pro rata for the duration of the assignment).
- Bank Holidays: Expected to work unless pre-booked as leave.
- Start ASAP.
What you'll be doing:
As the first point of contact for our facility, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Answering phones and managing emails efficiently.
- Greeting visitors, families, doctors, and nurses with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Handling general office duties and ensuring the smooth running of the reception area.
- Managing visitor sign-ins and ensuring compliance with parking rules and health and safety regulations.
This reception area is a large, open-plan, and versatile space, so you'll need to be comfortable in a busy and dynamic environment.
What we're looking for:
- Previous reception or administrative experience, ideally in a similar facility or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Someone available for an immediate start.
