Randstad Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic ICT/STEM Teacher to join a specialist SEN School in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers the chance to deliver imaginative, hands-on lessons that inspire learners who thrive on practical and tech-focused education.

This inclusive School specialises in educating children with complex special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Your Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible ICT and STEM lessons for students with diverse needs
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity
  • Support student's personal, emotional, and academic development
  • Build positive relationships that help learners feel safe, understood, and motivated
  • Adapt resources to meet individual learning profiles and EHCP targets
  • Collaborate with SEN professionals, support staff, and external agencies as needed
  • Track student progress and celebrate success, no matter how small

What We're Looking For
  • QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • A strong subject background in ICT, STEM, or related disciplines
  • Excellent digital literacy and confidence using assistive technologies
  • Experience teaching or supporting students with SEND
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and lifelong learning
