What is the job role?

As part of the team, you will help keep our school clean, safe and welcoming by carrying out a range of cleaning duties, including:

  • Mopping, sweeping, buffing and vacuuming floors
  • Dusting and polishing surfaces
  • Emptying bins
  • Cleaning toilets and washrooms
  • Using powered cleaning equipment in designated areas, following the school’s standards

Working pattern:

  • 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3:15pm – 6:15pm)
  • Term time only, including teacher training days
  • Plus one additional week during school holidays for deep cleaning tasks

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic, committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Ideally experienced in cleaning within a similar environment
  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills, and can build positive working relationships with colleagues and the wider school community
