Summary


NELFT Waltham Forest Nutrition and Dietetic Service is looking for an dietetic assistant, Band 3.

The post holder will ideally have previous experience of working in dietetics.

The role will involve supporting adult and paediatric dietitians. This support can involve patient reviews, nursing home visits, liaison with Nutricia regarding enteral feeding, referral updating and supporting group education

You should have well-developed communication skills with patients/ colleagues and be able to provide an initial response to patient and other agencies queries, concerns and sign post/direct as appropriate. You will also be able to prioritise your work, be a team player, use your initiative and meet deadlines.

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735).
