Summary

A summary is provided below: We are an established, diverse team comprising a Consultant Psychologist, Principal Psychologist, Mental Health Nurses, Recovery Practitioners, Speech and Language Therapist and a drama therapist. Working to the Framework for Integrated Care you will be a key team member in supporting the embedding of the principles of Integrated Care across the custodial setting as a whole. This will involve the production and implementation of psychological formulations to aid wider understanding of young people in custody, the facilitation of reflective practice sessions to the wider staffing teams, supporting with the identification and developing staff training. The approach will involve indirect work via consultancy to wider operational colleagues and some direct work with young people. Delivering psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments (DBT, CBT, EMDR, FBT, MFT, NVR) to our young people individually and in groups.
