At Remedy we are looking for a vibrant and passionate Teaching Assistant to work at one of our leading SEN Secondary Schools in Islington, North London. This amazing Learning Support Assistant role will require you to work with a year 8 child with various SEND/SEMH needs.
Role: Learning Support Assistant (SEN)
Contract: Full Time
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
Location: Islington, North London
Rate: £100 - £120 per day
Setting: Secondary School
The ideal Learning Support Assistant (SEN):
- Provide support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs.
- To work alongside a supportive, friendly, and determined inclusion staff.
- To facilitate the differentiation of tasks for students.
- To work with small groups or individual students on specific tasks.
Learning Support Assistant (SEN) Standard Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a TA or Learning assistant with pupils either primary or secondary.
- Experience working with challenging behaviour/ ASD, ADD, ADHD
- GCSE's (Including Maths or English)
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) professional reference checks.
