Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

Brief description:
Teach Maths and Science to secondary pupils in a supportive specialist education setting.

About the school:
Independent specialist school for students aged 5-21 with social, emotional and mental health needs and moderate learning difficulties. The school provides tailored academic pathways with integrated therapeutic support.

About the role:
Deliver high-quality Maths and Science lessons across KS3 to KS5. Foster engagement, encourage critical thinking, and support students in achieving academic progress and confidence in STEM subjects.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Plan and teach engaging Maths and Science lessons
- Support differentiated learning and individual progress
- Promote positive behaviour and classroom management
- Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEN teams
- Participate in enrichment and intervention activities

Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience teaching Maths and/or Science
- Understanding of SEMH and SEND environments
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
- Passion for inclusive and therapeutic education
