Summary
Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to begin a meaningful career in education or mental health? Educato Limited is recruiting passionate and caring individuals to support children with special educational needs (SEN) across a range of Liverpool-based schools and specialist provisions.
No classroom experience? No problem - if you're willing to learn, we'll support you every step of the way.
Location: Liverpool (and surrounding areas)
Contract type: Full-time, term-time (flexible placements)
Start date: Ongoing
Daily pay: £90 - £105 (dependent on experience and setting)
This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Mental Health Workers, or anyone eager to build a rewarding future in SEN support.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Encourage communication, emotional regulation, and independence
- Support with behaviour strategies, structured routines, and therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with Teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Assist with personal care or therapy-based tasks (depending on the setting)
Who we're looking for:
- Psychology (or related) graduates with a genuine interest in SEN
- Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong, positive relationships
- Proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
Experience with children or vulnerable adults is desirable, but not essential.
