Summary

Morson are exclusively looking for Skilled Fabricators for a leading aerospace company in Filton, Bristol. It is a 6 month contract initially.

Four days on site, 7am - 4:15pm

Rates:
£19.40- Skilled without Stamp /Weekday Overtime £24.25 / Weekend Overtime £29.10

Stamp usually achieved within 3 months then rates increase to £20.19/ Weekday overtime £25.24/ Weekend overtime £30.29


Job Description:

The use of hand, electrical and pneumatic tools and bending machines to shape, form and assemble metal products within drawing limits. Desired abilities to include (but not limited to):
• Use of jigs to assemble parts made from stainless steel, titanium or aluminium
• Fitting
• Swaging
• Measuring machinery and jigs
• Awareness of recognised quality process, i.e. ISO 9001, AS/EN9100, or similar

Key Skills:

• Ability to understand technical drawings/limits.
• Must be able to work in small teams with Process Team Leaders
• Self-motivated team player with good communication skills

Qualifications:

A recognised and relevant apprenticeship or the equivalent NVQ standard. Previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment would be desirable.
