Vehicle Technician – £38K–£45K Basic | No Weekends | Great Hours | Training Available
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 basic (no bonus, just a strong salary)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays

We’re working with a trusted and well-established independent garage seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their professional team. This is a full-time, permanent position with no weekend work, no upsell pressure, and no bonus schemes — just honest, straightforward workshop work.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of mechanical repairs and servicing, including:
Cambelts, clutches, brakes, suspension, exhausts, and general maintenance
Maintain high standards of workshop safety, efficiency, and quality
Optional: Use diagnostic equipment and assist with MOT testing (if certified)
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or Garage Technician
Confident with most mechanical work — diagnostics and MOT licence are advantageous but not required
A good communicator and team player who takes pride in quality workmanship
Someone ready to hit the ground running in a busy but friendly environment
