Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: 15 months
The Opportunity:
The Centre for Cardiovascular Science (CVS) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Centre Manager on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will temporarily assume responsibilities for key projects and day-to-day operations as we currently navigate through a period of strategic change to enhance our services and streamline our operations therefore applications would be welcome as a secondment opportunity or on a fixed term nature.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Degree in relevant subject (business/finance) with professional experience in a relevant role or a professional experience in a relevant role – demonstrating a broad range of experience.
Have experience in a line management role.
Demonstrable experience of managing/reporting and forecasting large financial budgets.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as high level organisation skills.
Be able to manage resources and workload.
Demonstrate ability to identify and manage risks, implement change effectively where required.
Proven experience of implementing changes to processes and procedures.
