MOT Tester (Class 4 & 7) – £32–£35K + Up to £1,000 Bonus | Main Dealer | No Weekends | Start ASAP
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 basic + monthly efficiency bonus (up to £1,000 a month)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (no weekends!)
Holidays: 22 days + Bank Holidays + Long Service Leave

Are you a qualified MOT Tester with a valid Class 4 & Class 7 MOT Testing Licence looking for a rewarding role at a reputable main dealer? Join a busy, modern dealership offering a friendly working environment, no weekend shifts, and great career development opportunities!
We’re recruiting for a respected main dealer with manufacturer-approved workshop facilities and a loyal customer base. Your role will focus on performing MOT tests for light and heavy vehicles (Class 4 & Class 7) along with some light servicing to keep your day varied.
Your Key Duties:
Conduct thorough Class 4 & 7 MOT testing with 1-hour slots allocated per vehicle for quality work
Perform light servicing and safety checks (approximately 20% of your workload)
Work within a well-equipped main dealer workshop alongside skilled technicians
Deliver excellent customer service with attention to detail and MOT compliance
What We’re Looking For:
Valid Class 4 & Class 7 MOT Tester Licence (essential)
Experience working as an MOT Tester in a fast-paced main dealer or independent garage
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
What You’ll Receive:
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 basic + monthly efficiency bonus up to £1,000
Monday to Friday, standard working hours – no weekend or evening shifts
