Summary

We are looking for a personal care assistant for our client who is an 83-year-old woman. Our client struggles can often struggle with her health and would like some support in her day-to-day life.
In this role you will be assisting our client with some of her day-to-day tasks. This may involve some light housework and generally companionship. Our client can come down with vestibular migraines. When this happens, our client can often be bed bound so will need assistance with preparing meals, prompting to eat and other tasks, as she is often left exhausted during these periods. Our client also uses a Servox voicebox and has a hearing impairment. Our client is looking for someone who is honest, patient and not shy.
Our client also has a large cuddly dog and a cat.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit. A good level of physical fitness would also be a benefit.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
