Summary
As the Plant Person at our Anwick based nursery, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, quality, and appearance of our large plant inventory.
Hours of work will be 08.00-16.30 Monday to Friday (subject to seasonal changes)
40 Hours per week
32 days paid leave including bank holidays
25% Staff Discount from our Garden Centre on site & Mail Order business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect all plants for signs of pests, diseases, or other issues, and take immediate action to treat affected plants.
- Monitor environmental conditions in the nursery and make adjustments as needed to optimize plant health.
- Maintain detailed records of all pest and disease management activities, including treatments applied, results, and any corrective actions taken.
- Work closely with the managers to develop and refine quality control protocols, ensuring all plants meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Provide training and guidance to other nursery staff on proper plant care, identification of pests and diseases, and best practices for maintaining plant health.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, research, and regulations related to nursery plant care and pest/disease management.
