Summary
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re working with a well-respected care provider in Cwmbran to recruit a kind, reliable, and motivated Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities in their homes and out in the local community. The perfect candidate will have a driving license and access to their own vehicle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly environment where you’ll help service users live as independently as possible while doing what they love – whether that’s going for a walk, visiting local cafés, or simply enjoying their day-to-day life.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing personal, practical, and emotional support in service users’ homes
Supporting individuals with learning disabilities in accessing community activities
Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
Assisting with day-to-day tasks such as meal prep, personal care, and medication
Encouraging social inclusion and building confidence
What We’re Looking For:
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – essential
Experience in care or supporting individuals with learning disabilities
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality
A team player who’s also confident working independently
Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing high-quality care
