Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable support worker to provide one-to-one support for an individual living with a mental health condition in their own home. The role involves offering practical and emotional assistance to help the individual maintain independence and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily prompts and gentle encouragement with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Support with shopping and meal planning.
• Assist with managing a basic budget and household tasks.
• Prompt and supervise medication as required.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
• Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
• Empathetic, patient, and respectful.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs is desirable.
• Reliable with good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and follow care plans.
