Crynodeb
Specific Responsibility The successful candidate will be experienced in adult general cardiology, cardiac catheterisation and PCI. The successful candidate will share the management of cardiology patients admitted to BHH Ward 6 including CCU, Ward 9 and will provide care for his/her own patients admitted to the Trust. Cardiology On-Call On call cover for cardiac emergencies is provided across all sites in the Trust. The new appointee will share the day-to-day management of cardiac emergencies at BHH with the existing 7 consultants. The post holder will participate in the out of hours on call rota for the Trust at BHH for primary PCI for STEMI. This will equate to a 1:8 on call with prospective cover.
