Contract: Full Time Salary: £14.14 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 42Our brand-new, purpose-built home in the village of Yarnton, Oxfordshire provides exceptional Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 73 residents.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dayshift team. You will lead by example, ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care and supporting a team that truly makes a difference.
What We Offer:
- £14.14 per hour (paid breaks)
- Dayshift with contracted hours
- Overtime paid at time and a third
- Pension, paid DBS, free uniform, onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time)
What You Will Do:
You will lead care delivery on shift, supervising and mentoring Care Assistants while providing direct support to residents. This includes personal care, mobility, and medication administration, as well as supporting documentation, care planning, and effective handovers. You will foster teamwork, maintain high hygiene standards, and uphold dignity in all interactions.
What We’re Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Competency in administering medication
- Proven leadership in a care setting
- A compassionate, supportive, and resident-centred approach
