Summary

Job Opportunity: CNC Miller – Gloucester
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 (DOE)
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join their growing team on a permanent basis in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with brand-new machinery in a forward-thinking and dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components.


  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical blueprints.


  • Read and understand G codes and M codes.


  • Apply precise feeds and speeds during machining operations.


  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards.


  • Use hand tools and tooling with accuracy for tight tolerances.


  • Assist with material handling and warehouse stock management.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process-related issues.


    ✅ Essential Skills & Experience:

    • Proven experience operating Haas milling machines.


    • Solid background in CNC machining, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.


    • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.


    • Confident in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.


    • Knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles.
