Job Opportunity: CNC Miller – Gloucester
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 (DOE)
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join their growing team on a permanent basis in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with brand-new machinery in a forward-thinking and dynamic engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Set, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical blueprints.

Read and understand G codes and M codes.

Apply precise feeds and speeds during machining operations.

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards.

Use hand tools and tooling with accuracy for tight tolerances.

Assist with material handling and warehouse stock management.

Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process-related issues.
✅ Essential Skills & Experience:-
Proven experience operating Haas milling machines.

Solid background in CNC machining, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

Confident in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.

Knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles.
